ABOUT

MA, BCBA

Crystal has worked with individuals with autism and social complexities in the lower mainland since 2004. She received her Master’s Degree in Autism Studies at the University of Kent in Canterbury in 2012 focusing on social skills therapies in educational settings. She became a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) in 2013 after completing her Behaviour Analyst Certification Board coursework at Pennsylvania State University. She started practicing as a Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) and social group facilitator at Able Developmental clinic in 2013. In 2016 she launched her own behaviour consultation group, Celerate Behaviour Innovations, and in 2018 her own social skills groups, Spark It! Crystal loves to work with individuals of all ages, believing that learning and social skill acquisition are a continuous journey. Her practice centers on using Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA) as a science and lens to create social skills therapies and supports that will facilitate meaningful growth in the daily lives of her learners and their families. Learners being able to use their skills independently out in the world is the most important goal that drives Crystal’s practice.
